Grealish, who came on at halftime, scored City’s opening goal in the 50th minute and also assisted their second, with his pass deflecting into Erling Haaland’s path for a clinical finish.

However, City’s control slipped after Ousmane Dembele pulled one back for PSG, and Bradley Barcola leveled the score before Joao Neves gave PSG the lead in the 78th minute. In the dying moments of the match, Goncalo Ramos added a fourth for PSG after a VAR review overturned an offside decision.

Frustrated after the game, Grealish shared his thoughts in an interview with TNT Sports. “Normally, we handle these situations well, but this season, we’ve often struggled to manage games after going ahead. I don’t know if it’s a confidence issue, but we haven’t been performing at the level we’re capable of,” he said. “We had players on the pitch who are usually excellent at controlling the ball, but we haven’t done that recently.”

He also praised PSG’s performance: “They were much better than I expected, energetic and very good overall. They deserved the win.”
