Arne Slot’s ideal Liverpool transfer takes a major hit as he announces on camera that he won’t be joining the club.

One of Arne Slot’s key transfer targets has publicly ruled out a move to Liverpool during a live YouTube stream.

Liverpool has yet to secure a January signing, following their two summer acquisitions. Federico Chiesa joined from Juventus for £12.5 million and is beginning to find form at Anfield after overcoming injury issues. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who signed for £25 million plus £4 million in add-ons, remains on loan at Valencia for the rest of the season.

With January additions looking unlikely, Liverpool appears focused on extending the contracts of key players Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil van Dijk. However, Milos Kerkez, a rumored target and Bournemouth’s standout left-back, has seemingly ruled out a move.

During a live stream, Kerkez responded to comments from Liverpool fans asking him to join the club, stating: “Yes, yes. I will not go to Liverpool. For everybody listening, I will not go to Liverpool.”

The 21-year-old Hungarian international has excelled this season, earning praise for his attacking contributions and being linked to Anfield as a potential successor to Andy Robertson. For now, though, Kerkez remains committed to Bournemouth, who are enjoying a strong season under manager Andoni Iraola. Currently sixth in the Premier League, the Cherries are on a 10-match unbeaten run, including an impressive 4-1 win at Newcastle despite injury setbacks. Whether Kerkez reconsiders his stance in the summer remains unc

ertain.
