Arsenal are making a strong effort to sign two top-tier strikers before the transfer deadline after failing to secure Ollie Watkins.

Arsenal are keen to sign another striker and have reportedly identified two new targets after missing out on Ollie Watkins.

The Gunners had a £60 million bid for the Aston Villa and England forward rejected earlier this week but remain determined to strengthen their attacking options, especially with recent injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka.

Mikel Arteta has emphasized the need for reinforcements to boost Arsenal’s chances across three ongoing competitions. When asked about potential signings before the February 3 deadline, Arteta stated:

“I’m very confident with the work the club is doing, exploring every opportunity that could impact the team. If we find the right deal, we’ll move forward; if not, we won’t.”

With their pursuit of Watkins now at a standstill due to Villa’s refusal to sell, Arsenal have shifted focus to other targets. According to GiveMeSport, they are now considering moves for Benjamin Sesko and Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic, previously linked with Arsenal before joining Juventus in 2022, has netted 53 goals in 128 appearances for the Italian side. However, he could be open to a transfer following Juve’s recent loan signing of Randal Kolo Muani from PSG.

Sesko, currently at RB Leipzig, is another player Arsenal admire. The 21-year-old Slovenian has scored 14 Bundesliga goals this season and is seen as the club’s priority target. His agent, Elvis Basanovic, recently hinted at a potential Premier League move, stating:
