Erling Haaland’s father has fired back at Arsenal after they mocked Manchester City during their 5-1 victory. The Gunners took several jabs at Haaland throughout the match. Gabriel shouted in his face after Martin Odegaard’s early goal, and Myles Lewis-Skelly mimicked Haaland’s iconic meditation celebration following his own goal. Additionally, Kendrick Lamar’s song “Humble” played after the final whistle, likely a nod to Haaland’s “Stay Humble” comment earlier in the season. In response to a social media post showing Lewis-Skelly’s celebration, Haaland’s father, Alfie, sarcastically remarked, “«This Team» that wins everything. Ehhhhh, not.”
Haaland had a tough game, despite scoring City’s equalizer early in the second half.
