Real Madrid shaken as two players ‘request to leave’ this summer.

According to a new report, two Real Madrid players have ‘requested’ to leave the club on loan this summer.

Real Madrid cruised past Manchester City in the Champions League play-off round on Wednesday night, powered by a hat-trick from Kylian Mbappe.

For club president Florentino Perez, winning the Champions League remains the ultimate goal, with recent failures often putting managers under intense scrutiny. This season, Real’s campaign has been further complicated by injuries, with Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao sidelined for the season due to ACL injuries. Meanwhile, David Alaba, who returned last month after recovering from an ACL injury that kept him out for all of 2024, has now suffered a muscle injury.

Now, manager Carlo Ancelotti could face additional challenges. According to Spanish outlet SPORT, both Endrick and Arda Guler have requested loan moves this summer to secure more playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Neither player has been a regular in Madrid’s first team this season. As Forbes highlights, only David Alaba and out-of-favor defender Jesus Vallejo have played fewer minutes. Both Endrick and Guler reportedly feel ‘invisible’ and ‘frustrated’ with their lack of opportunities.

Endrick officially joined Real Madrid in June after turning 18, following his pre-arranged transfer from Palmeiras. However, he has struggled for game time, with Mbappe, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior ahead of him in the attacking hierarchy. Meanwhile, Guler has been unable to break into Real’s star-studded midfield.

The Turkish international has made only three starts this calendar year, all in the Copa del Rey, where he has impressed with two goals and two assists.
