The Chase star designs an extremely challenging goalkeeper quiz, claiming, “You won’t get all five.”

The Chase star Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis challenges fans with another tough football quiz—this time focused on goalkeepers.

The 44-year-old, who first gained recognition as a contestant on ITV’s The Chase before becoming a Chaser, has gone viral multiple times on TikTok for his challenging five-question quizzes.

Earlier this week, he tested fans with a quiz on Premier League transfers from 1992 onwards. Now, he’s turned his attention to goalkeepers, posting the latest challenge on his TikTok account, @bonesgiles.

The first question asked which goalkeeper—besides Petr Cech—has won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award four times since its introduction in 2005. While some might have guessed Alisson, Ederson, or David de Gea, the correct answer was Joe Hart, who won the award in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2015 with Manchester City.

Next, Ennis quizzed fans on the goalkeeper with the most recorded appearances in football history—1,393 matches. The answer was Peter Shilton, who played professionally until he was 47.

The third question referenced a dramatic moment in lower-league football: which goalkeeper, while on loan at Carlisle United in 1999, scored the goal that kept them in the Football League and effectively relegated Scarborough? The answer was Jimmy Glass, who netted the famous goal while on loan from Swindon Town before retiring a year later to run a taxi company.

The fourth question tested fans’ memory of the last goalkeeper to score in the Premier League. The answer was Alisson, who netted a stunning last-minute header for Liverpool in a 2021 draw against West Brom.

Finally, Ennis asked which England women’s goalkeeper is nicknamed The Queen of Stops. The correct answer was Mary Earps, the current Lionesses’ number one, whose nickname is a clever play on Mary, Queen of Scots.
