Liverpool set €70m price tag as they prepare to take a significant transfer risk amid interest from top European clubs.

Liverpool are reportedly open to selling Luis Díaz this summer, with Atlético Madrid expressing interest in the Colombian winger, who is valued at around €70m.

Díaz has been in impressive form this season, playing a key role in Arne Slot’s successful debut campaign as manager. The Reds are in a strong position at the top of the Premier League, leading by 13 points, and are also contenders for the Champions League title.

Despite his contributions, Díaz’s future at Anfield remains uncertain, as Liverpool are willing to consider offers for the 28-year-old, according to Fichajes.

Liverpool Taking a Risk with Luis Díaz’s Potential Departure

While Díaz may not be the focal point of Liverpool’s attack—that distinction belongs to Mohamed Salah—his departure could still be a gamble. The Reds do have attacking options like Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota, though the latter has struggled with injuries. Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa and Darwin Núñez have not lived up to expectations.

With Salah nearing the end of his contract, Liverpool may need to be cautious about making further changes to their attacking lineup before securing the Egyptian’s future.

Díaz, a talented and dynamic forward, could be a strong addition for Atlético Madrid. However, Barcelona has also been linked with the former Porto star, suggesting this could develop into one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer.
