Real Madrid set to offer surprise first-team player in swap deal with PSG in a move that could stun Europe.

Real Madrid are reportedly planning a blockbuster move for a Paris Saint-Germain star, with a surprising first-team player set to be included in the deal.

The Spanish giants are always on the lookout for emerging talents, having recently secured signings like Jude Bellingham, Endrick, Arda Güler, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Rodrygo Goes. After finally landing Kylian Mbappé on a free transfer last summer, the 15-time European champions are now eager to recruit another rising star from the Ligue 1 powerhouse.

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid have identified PSG midfielder João Neves as a top summer target. The 20-year-old Portuguese international, who joined PSG in August for an initial €59.9 million—plus Renato Sanches heading to Benfica on loan—has been a revelation, registering 13 goal involvements in 34 appearances.

Neves, previously linked with Manchester United, is seen as a potential long-term successor to Luka Modrić due to his ability to control the midfield. Real Madrid are reportedly so determined to sign him that they are willing to include Eduardo Camavinga in the deal, along with an additional €20 million.

Camavinga, who arrived from Rennes in 2021 for €31 million, has played 170 games for Los Blancos, winning two Champions League titles and two La Liga trophies while showcasing his versatility under Carlo Ancelotti. However, Real’s admiration for Neves appears strong enough to consider parting ways with the Frenchman.

It remains to be seen whether PSG would entertain such an offer, but the proposed deal could have major implications across European football. While Real secured a 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in their Champions League last-16 first leg, PSG and Neves are set to face Liverpool on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.
