Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards walked off the CBS Sports set after hearing Alisson Becker’s response during a post-match interview.

The Brazilian goalkeeper was the standout performer in Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash against Paris Saint-Germain, making nine crucial saves to deny PSG before Harvey Elliott secured a late 1-0 victory at the Parc des Princes.

Following the match, Alisson joined Carragher, Richards, Thierry Henry, and Kate Scott for an interview on CBS Sports. Richards playfully asked Alisson if he had seen their show and, after receiving confirmation, pressed him on his favorite pundit. Attempting to win him over, Richards even showcased his Portuguese skills.

However, Alisson’s response caught them off guard. He praised Richards’ effort in Portuguese but ultimately chose Henry, citing his admiration for the Arsenal legend while growing up in Brazil. At that moment, Carragher and Richards humorously stood up and walked off, with Richards jokingly saying, “I’ve had enough of this.”

Henry, amused by the reaction, thanked Alisson before shifting the conversation to a technical discussion about his performance.

Reflecting on the goalkeeper’s heroics, match-winner Elliott called Alisson “the best in the world” and credited him for consistently keeping Liverpool in games.

Liverpool now turn their focus back to the Premier League, where they will face Southampton at Anfield on Saturday.
