Fans are all blaming the same PSG player after Liverpool pull off a stunning comeback victory.

Fans have criticized a Paris Saint-Germain player after a costly mistake allowed Liverpool to snatch a surprise victory in their Champions League clash.

On Wednesday night, Liverpool secured a shocking 1-0 win over PSG at the Parc des Princes, despite being dominated for most of the match. The French champions controlled the game but were repeatedly denied by Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, who put in a heroic performance.

Following the match, fans took to social media to single out one PSG player, blaming him for his role in the defeat. A late opportunity, created by substitutes Darwin Núñez and Harvey Elliott, led to Liverpool’s only major chance of the game—calmly converted by the young Englishman to give the visitors the lead.

However, many supporters pointed the finger at PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, arguing that he should have done better to prevent the goal. Social media was flooded with criticism, with one fan stating:
“Donnarumma had nothing to do for 90 minutes yet conceded the first shot he faced. Most overrated goalkeeper of all time.”

Another added:
“There hasn’t been a worse goalkeeper in the Champions League over the past four years than Donnarumma.”

A third fan wrote:
“Alisson had to make countless saves and stopped them all, while Donnarumma had just one to deal with and couldn’t manage it. How is he still playing at the highest level?”

One more commented:
“The key difference in this game? One team has Alisson in goal, the other has Donnarumma.”

Despite having little to do for most of the night, Donnarumma failed to step up when it mattered most. His struggles were highlighted even further by Alisson’s exceptional performance at the other end, where the Liverpool goalkeeper made nine crucial saves to keep his team in the match.
