Liverpool have engaged in discussions regarding a key Arsenal target who has altered their transfer position.

Liverpool have reportedly been in contact with the representatives of RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, who may now be open to a move to Anfield.

The highly-rated Slovenian forward has emerged as one of Europe’s top young attacking talents, attracting significant interest ahead of the summer transfer window. While Arsenal have long been linked with Sesko, reports from Rousing the Kop suggest that Liverpool have now entered the race and recently held discussions with his camp.

Initially, Sesko was thought to prefer a move to London, but these talks indicate he is now considering other options, including Liverpool.

With Arne Slot’s side enjoying a strong season and leading the Premier League title race, Anfield could be an increasingly attractive destination. Liverpool are also competing for major trophies, including the Champions League and the Carabao Cup, which could further boost their appeal.

Sesko’s arrival would provide Liverpool with a significant upgrade in attack, potentially offering more consistency than Darwin Nunez. However, Arsenal are also in urgent need of a top striker, and securing Sesko could be key to closing the gap on their rivals next season.
