Isak, labelled as “absolutely sensational,” has had an outstanding season, scoring 24 goals and registering 5 assists in all competitions, including playing a key role in their League Cup triumph and push for a top-four finish.

If Liverpool succeed in signing him, it would mark a major statement of intent and a significant boost in their quest for a 20th league title. Still, allowing a player of Salah’s stature to leave while building for the future could raise serious questions about the club’s direction.
