Ryan Gravenberch’s Agent Responds to Circulating Real Madrid Rumors
Ryan Gravenberch’s agent has sparked controversy among Liverpool fans after making comments about Real Madrid. In an interview with Marca, Jose Fortes stated: “He’s good enough for Real Madrid. We’d love to see him play there, but Liverpool would demand a high fee. I know they were interested, but now it’s not possible.”
Although there was no immediate indication of a move, Fortes appeared open to the idea down the line, which upset many supporters.
In response to the backlash, the 53-year-old clarified his remarks on Instagram, writing: “I’m Spanish, it’s my dream club, not Ryan’s. He’s very happy [at Liverpool], and if you ask him, he’ll tell you Liverpool is the biggest club in the world. No stress, keep calm.”
This seemed like an effort to clarify his stance and reassure fans.
The timing didn’t help, as speculation about Trent Alexander-Arnold potentially heading to Madrid has already dealt a heavy blow. If a future captain can be lured away, what’s to stop others?
Supporters are now hoping Gravenberch stays loyal to Liverpool, much like Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
