Despite signing Nunez for £85 million from Benfica, his output of seven goals and seven assists across all competitions this season has fallen short of expectations for a club with ambitions of winning the Premier League and Champions League. As such, Liverpool are considering reinforcements up front, with Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak high on their radar. However, the Swedish striker is expected to cost around £150 million, making player sales essential to finance the deal.
