Liverpool, Man United, and Arsenal informed they must pay £86.5m to sign 21-goal forward.

Several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle, are keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike.

The 22-year-old French striker is having a standout season, netting 21 goals and averaging a goal or assist every 103 minutes. His excellent form has led Frankfurt to place a hefty price tag on him.

According to SPORT BILD, the Bundesliga side is demanding €100 million (£86.5m) for Ekitike, as they look to exceed their previous record sale of Randal Kolo Muani to PSG for €95 million in 2023.

Scouts from the interested English clubs were reportedly in attendance during Frankfurt’s recent Europa League quarter-final clash against Tottenham, where Ekitike found the net in a 1-1 draw.

With the summer transfer window approaching, the striker’s future is being closely monitored by clubs aiming to strengthen their attack. Liverpool, in particular, are said to be the most heavily linked with the Frenchman, as they plan for life after Darwin Núñez.

Arsenal are also seen as serious contenders, willing to spend significantly to land a new forward. Meanwhile, clubs across Europe recognize the financial power of Premier League sides, which has influenced Frankfurt’s valuation of Ekitike.

It’s still unclear which club will come out on top in the race to sign him, but all interested sides have a clear need for attacking reinforcements.
