Jurgen Klopp’s agent responds to rumors linking former Liverpool boss with Real Madrid rol
Liverpool fans are enjoying the early days under Arne Slot, but that doesn’t mean seeing Jurgen Klopp linked with other clubs doesn’t still feel odd. Though the German is now working in a global role at Red Bull, speculation continues to tie him to high-profile managerial jobs — including a possible move to Real Madrid.
Addressing the fresh rumors, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke gave an update shared by German football reporter Florian Plettenberg on X:
“New rumours linking Jürgen Klopp with Real Madrid and Brazil. His top agent, Marc Kosicke, told us for Sky: ‘Jürgen is very happy with his new role as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull.’”
Despite ongoing interest from major clubs and national teams, Klopp has no plans to return to coaching next season — not even for Real Madrid or Brazil. For now, Xabi Alonso remains Madrid’s primary target.
This will be welcome news for Liverpool fans. Not only does Klopp seem content away from the dugout, but the idea of him taking charge elsewhere — especially somewhere like Madrid, where he could potentially link up with Trent Alexander-Arnold — would feel uncomfortable.
His continued commitment to staying out of management reaffirms his word and offers reassurance to supporters who still feel strongly connected to him.
