“I’m happy at Liverpool” – Reds star speaks out and shuts down Real Madrid speculation.

Trent Alexander-Arnold isn’t the only Liverpool player recently linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Alexis Mac Allister, who has had an outstanding season under Arne Slot, has also reportedly attracted interest from the Spanish giants. The 26-year-old has contributed six goals and five assists this campaign, playing a key role in Liverpool’s success.

Given his form, it’s no surprise that top European clubs have taken notice—Real Madrid included. However, Mac Allister has firmly shut down the speculation, stating he’s content at Liverpool and not entertaining thoughts of leaving Anfield.

Speaking to TyC Sports journalist Gastón Edul, as cited by GOAL, the Argentine midfielder said:

“I see the rumours and hear the news, but what matters is the present. Even if a club loves you, one bad game can change everything. I’m happy at Liverpool and don’t feel the need to leave. I respect this club a lot and don’t think talking about others is necessary.”

Mac Allister has calmly dismissed the Real Madrid rumours and affirmed his commitment to Liverpool, where he has become a vital part of the starting XI. He values the support of the fans and sees the club as his second home.

Since his move from Brighton, Mac Allister has elevated his game, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s top midfielders.

While Liverpool may face challenges retaining Alexander-Arnold, Mac Allister’s future looks secure. Meanwhile, the Reds are eyeing Xavi Simons to further strengthen their midfield options.
