Premier League ace strongly favors Liverpool switch over Manchester United

Several Premier League clubs are expressing interest in signing Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.

The Englishman has continued to impress this season, playing a key role in Palace’s journey to the FA Cup final, where they are set to face Manchester City. Eze’s standout performance in the semifinal against Aston Villa, where he scored, has further raised his profile.

According to Football Insider, Eze is likely to turn down a summer transfer to Manchester United, favoring more attractive options at Liverpool and Arsenal. Former United scout Mick Brown suggested the midfielder doubts a move to Old Trafford would align with his career ambitions.

Brown stated that Eze is drawn to clubs with a clearer vision and more stability—qualities he sees in both Arsenal and Liverpool. He added:

“His display at Wembley only strengthened his case. He’s shown he can handle pressure on a big stage. But I don’t think United are the right fit for him or capable of getting the best out of him.

“I’ve heard he has no intention of joining United. He’s seen how other players have struggled there and doesn’t want to follow that path.

“Liverpool or Arsenal would be far better destinations.”

Though Manchester United may admire Eze, the playmaker appears focused on joining a club where he can thrive immediately. Whether that means gracing Anfield or the Emirates, his next move could elevate him into the elite ranks of Premier League midfielders.

Eze possesses the talent and skill to become one of the league’s best in his position. Under the guidance of coaches like Arne Slot or Mikel Arteta, he could reach new heights and compete for major trophies.

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has lauded Eze as an “absolutely top” talent. Meanwhile, Liverpool are also keeping a close eye on another Palace star, Adam Wharton.
