Alphonso Davies’ agent shares insights on the Bayern Munich defender’s potential transfer, sparking Real Madrid speculation.

Alphonso Davies’ agent, Nedal Huoseh, has clarified that the Canadian defender has not made a definitive decision about his future. Despite speculation linking him to various top clubs, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester United, no agreements have been finalized.

Davies, whose contract with Bayern Munich expires in June 2025, has been heavily linked to a move, with reports suggesting Real Madrid as the frontrunners. However, Huoseh denied these claims, stating, “There is no agreement with Real Madrid. The player has many options, including a potential new deal at Bayern, but no terms have been agreed with any club.”

This season, Davies has delivered three assists in 15 appearances for Bayern, contributing to his overall tally of 11 goals and 34 assists in 210 games for the club since joining from Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018. Bayern’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, remains optimistic about securing a contract extension, emphasizing Davies’ comfort and strong form within the team.

Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany is also determined to retain the 24-year-old, who recently expressed satisfaction with his role at the club, stating his focus is on helping Bayern succeed. Despite these assurances, Real Madrid reportedly remains highly interested in Davies, viewing him as a priority target for 2025 if he becomes available.
