Arsenal could fulfill Leroy Sane’s ‘dream’ transfer as a timeline for a potential bargain deal has been established.
Arsenal have been given reasons why they might have an opportunity to sign Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane.
The Gunners were active in the summer transfer window, bringing in six new players, including David Raya, whose loan from Brentford was made permanent after his first season at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal also signed Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino, Tommy Setford, and Lucas Nygaard on permanent deals, while Raheem Sterling and Neto joined on loan until the season’s end.
It’s unclear which players Mikel Arteta may target when the transfer window reopens in January, if any. During the summer, reports suggested Arsenal were interested in Sane before the window closed.
While no agreement was reached, the rumors linking Arsenal with a move for the former Manchester City star have persisted.
Christian Falk, a Bundesliga reporter for Sport Bild, recently provided an update on Sane’s future amid speculation he may leave Bayern in 2025. With Sane’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, he could be available as a free agent next summer.
Falk reported that Arsenal are interested in a potential deal and may have an advantage. It’s been suggested that Sane has “dreamed” of moving to London since his time at City.
