Arsenal’s summer transfer priorities are taking shape as they prepare for a critical meeting with Kroenke.

Arsenal’s sporting director Edu stepped down earlier this month, and the club’s future transfer strategies will be discussed in a key meeting with the Kroenke family this week.

Arsenal leaders are set to meet with the Kroenkes in the coming days to discuss their approach for upcoming transfer windows following Edu’s resignation. Edu’s departure was announced last week, as he’s now expected to oversee clubs owned by Evangelos Marinakis, which include Nottingham Forest. Several Arsenal executives are traveling to the U.S. to confer with Josh and Stan Kroenke.

The meeting, planned well before Edu’s exit, now holds even more significance. According to the Evening Standard, discussions will focus heavily on Arsenal’s plans for the next two transfer windows.

Reportedly, Arsenal is considering bringing in a new winger, striker, and goalkeeper, while also evaluating options to provide backup for manager Mikel Arteta’s captain, Martin Odegaard. Odegaard, recently back from an extended ankle injury, has highlighted the need for another creative midfielder during his absence.

RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko was a major Arsenal target last summer, and the club may reignite their interest in the Slovenian striker. Arsenal is also reportedly interested in Newcastle’s Alexander Isak.

Spain’s 22-year-old winger Nico Williams, who has a £48 million release clause, was also targeted last summer. Arsenal may face competition from several top European clubs, including Barcelona, for Williams.

A goalkeeper is also a priority, with David Raya now the first-choice following Aaron Ramsdale’s move to Southampton. Neto, currently the backup, is only on loan from Bournemouth. Arsenal previously showed interest in Espanyol’s Joan Garcia last summer but couldn’t complete a deal; he could be revisited as a target at season’s end.
