Liverpool are in discussions over a €50-60m transfer as a Bundesliga star is keen on joining the club.
Eintracht Frankfurt’s standout player, Omar Marmoush, is reportedly eager to join Liverpool, with a €50-60m transfer being prepared, according to BILD. Liverpool has already opened initial discussions, signaling that the transfer process is underway.
Marmoush has shined this season in the Bundesliga, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists in 14 games, with only Harry Kane matching his performance level. Interest from major clubs has surged, with the Egyptian drawing significant attention.
While Marmoush is happy at Frankfurt and not planning a January move, he does harbor ambitions of winning a title with the club, which has supported him during challenging times. Still, his ultimate dream is to play for Liverpool, with early talks already initiated for a possible transfer next year.
Other English clubs are interested, but Liverpool is his top choice. Should the transfer materialize and Marmoush stay injury-free, Frankfurt would expect a €50-60m fee. Nonetheless, the club hopes to retain him, especially if they can secure Champions League qualification, as failing to do so might make it harder to keep him away from Liverpool’s pursuit.
