Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has vowed to forever treasure the incredible moments he’s experienced at Anfield, even as uncertainty looms with his contract nearing its end. Salah, who is in the final year of his deal with the Reds, could begin discussions with foreign clubs starting in January, potentially bringing his celebrated time with Liverpool to a close—a loss that would be significant for Arne Slot’s team.

Since his transfer from Roma in 2017, Salah has scored 221 goals, making him Liverpool’s fifth all-time top scorer. Known as the “Egyptian King,” he has played a crucial role in the club’s successes, helping Liverpool secure their first Premier League title and adding a Champions League, FA Cup, and other trophies.

In a recent interview with Liverpool’s media, Salah reflected on his journey, joined by teammates Alisson Becker and Andy Robertson. “What I cherish most is coming in every morning, seeing the guys, and sharing those amazing moments,” he said, mentioning his close bond with senior players Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

After Roberto Firmino’s departure, Salah emphasized the importance of savoring each moment with his teammates. “When Bobby left, it reminded me that one day we’ll all go. So I make the most of each day at training, sharing laughs and enjoying our time,” he shared.

Firmino left Liverpool in 2023, signing with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli, where he has since scored 14 goals in 49 appearances. Recently, Salah hinted at a possible farewell after scoring in Liverpool’s win over Brighton, posting on social media, “Top of the table is where this club belongs. There’s only one champion in the end. I’ll never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like.”
