Reports suggest that Manchester United will face strong competition from Arsenal in their pursuit of a £77 million-rated star during the January transfer window.
Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs keen on signing Randall Kolo Muani, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) potentially open to a loan move in January 2025.
Arsenal have been linked with several strikers since last season due to Gabriel Jesus’ struggles with form and recurring injuries. Kai Havertz has often been utilized as their primary striker, but the Gunners are seeking a true No. 9. Despite a recent 3-0 EFL Cup win over Preston North End, Arsenal have scored only three goals in their last five games across competitions, failing to score in three of those matches. Consequently, TBR Football reports they are now interested in acquiring Kolo Muani on loan in January.
The French forward, who moved to PSG from Eintracht Frankfurt for around £77 million last summer, has netted 11 goals and contributed six assists in 51 games. However, under manager Luis Enrique, Kolo Muani has become surplus to requirements, with only two starts this season.
PSG is thus open to a potential loan deal for him in January. Manchester United, with only nine goals in 10 Premier League matches this season, are also monitoring the French striker.
